This training enables New York State-licensed health professionals to fulfill their requirement for mandatory infection control training as specified in Chapter 786 of the Laws of 1992 of New York State.
Mandatory Infection Control Training Requirements for New York State Healthcare Providers : Health professionals are required to attest infection control and barrier precautions training completion certificate on license renewal and provide a copy of their certificate to the person(s) who maintain their credentialing documentation. Independent Physicians and Physician Assistants whose professional credentials are not maintained by employer must submit a copy of their certificate by mail to the New York State Department of Health.

- Educational requirements (3 Hours Bloodborne Pathogens & Communicable Disease Course)
- Standards of practice for conventional and cosmetic tattoo artists
- Operational requirements for tattoo establishments
Educational Course: On May 16, 2012, section 64E-28.006, F.A.C. became effective. This section outlines the bloodborne pathogens and communicable diseases course requirements that all tattoo artists must meet prior to being issued a tattoo artist license.
