At the present time there is no national accrediting agency that approves physical therapy continuing education. Many state boards will accept courses that are accredited by another agency or board. Biologix Solutions LLC is recognized by the Physical Therapy Board of California, Oklahoma Physical Therapists Committee, Texas Physical Therapy Association, and many other agencies as a Continuing Competency Approval Agency.

States with NO Pre-Approval Requirement (Accepts courses approved by other boards):  Alaska, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Idaho, Indiana, Iowa, Maine, Massachusetts, Michigan, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New York, North Dakota, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Utah, Vermont, Virgin Islands, Washington State, and Wyoming. If you are not sure what your licensing agency requires, check with them before taking a course.

Mandatory Ethics, Jurisprudence & Professional Responsibility CE Requirements (Every Renewal):

  • California – 2CCUs
  • Georgia – 4 Contact Hours
  • Oklahoma – 3 Contact Hours
  • Texas – 2 Contact Hours

Florida Licensed Physical Therapy Professionals : All Florida Licensed PTs/PTAs are required 2 hour course relating to prevention of medical errors, and 1 hour of HIV/AIDS. Biologix Solutions HIV/AIDS & Reducing Medical Errors courses are approved by the Florida Board of Nursing, Florida Board of Dentistry and are accepted by Physical Therapy board under MQAs.
