Antibiotic resistance is emerging as a significant problem as a result of the overuse of antibiotics. Dentists’ improper use of antibiotics is a major factor contributing to this issue. Encouraging responsible prescribing practices is crucial to tackle this important public health concern. The course “Antibiotics in Dentistry – Use and Overuse” aims to offer dentists scientifically-based guidance on the appropriate use of antibiotics in dentistry.
