Lower back pain is a common reason for doctor visits. It is one of the most prevalent conditions in the United States. Approximately 80% of people experience at least one instance of low back pain during their lifetime. The objective of this continuing education program for low back pain is to help physical therapists efficiently and effectively screen patients for potential pathological conditions and nonorganic causes of low back pain, identify the sources of patient symptoms, and improve the physical therapist’s decision-making abilities regarding an appropriate care plan.
