This course provides an overview of the latest research on de Quervain’s tendonitis (DQT), focusing on specific interventions that utilize appropriate outcome measures. It covers the prevalence, incidence, histopathology, causes, risk factors, diagnosis, evaluations, and recommended treatment options for patients with DQT.

- Discuss other considerations / differential diagnoses to be ruled out, as symptomology may be confused with de Quervain’s.
- Describe appropriate outcome measures when evaluating de Quervain’s tenosynovitis.
- Discuss a holistic approach when assessing a patient with de Quervain’s tenosynovitis.
- Discuss assessments and approaches when evaluating a person with de Quervain’s tenosynovitis.
- Discuss appropriate treatment options for intervening with de Quervain’s tenosynovitis.
