It will also cover the pathogenicity and toxicity of the virus, patient presentation, available treatments, and supportive care. The primary goal of the course is to help healthcare providers understand the pathways for Ebola infection in humans, comprehend the history of the current outbreak, and learn how to provide supportive care management for hospitalized Ebola patients.
