Course Description: These dynamic, interactive and hands-on session will cover the foundation of myofascial release (MFR) for upper and lower body, foundation of instrument assisted soft tissue manipulation (IASTM) and IASTM techniques for the upper and lower body and more!

At the end of completing this course, you will be able to:
- Identify the difference between an active and latent trigger point
- Criticize a case study for relevance
- Perform 3 MFR techniques that are effective to the upper thigh for hip bursitis/ITB syndrome
- Perform 3 IASTM techniques to the hip for THR patient.
- Differentiate common orthopedic dysfunctions of the hip, knee and ankle.
- Identify 3 MFR/IASTM techniques to use for common orthopedic dysfunctions
- Perform 3 IASTM techniques for the ankle/foot

Chris has been a practicing physical therapist for 20 years with a strong clinical background in orthopedics, sports injuries and spinal dysfunctions. He has been a personal trainer for 20 years and an international fitness presenter for 15years. With a desire to pursue the highest level of training, he will be pursuing a Fellowship in Orthopedics and Manual Therapy in 2019.. Chris is pursuing certification in trigger point therapy, becoming a C.O.M.T.(Maitland) manual therapist and, becoming certified in vestibular trained (V.R.T.) .
