This comprehensive overview will enhance your ability to care for patients diagnosed with Legionnaires’ Disease. This course aims to provide information about the importance identifying and diagnosing this disease as it often goes unrecognized or misdiagnosed. This course will provide a framework for approaching each clinical encounter with a set of rationales to keep in mind to accurately diagnose and treat patients. Upon completion of this activity, the learner will apply evidence-based care concepts of etiology and pathophysiology of Legionnaires’ Disease.
