Osteoporosis – Diagnosis and Management course provides a concise overview of osteoporosis issues, causes, diagnosis and treatment. The course was created to increase awareness and knowledge about the importance of educating families about bone health. Emphasis is on an understanding of the life–long risk factors for the development of the disease, particularly those that reflect lifestyle choices. New treatment approaches are outlined based on medical research. Consideration is also given to the unique challenges presented by osteoporosis in men.
