This course can provide you with a comprehensive understanding of how osteoarthritis is diagnosed, as well as the non-operative and operative treatment options for osteoarthritis.

  • Describe the differences between a total shoulder arthroplasty and a revere total shoulder arthroplasty and the path to determining the appropriate surgery.
  • Develop a surgical post-operative rehabilitation protocol for post-operative management of total joint replacements of the hip, knee, and shoulder.
  • Understand the elements of physical therapy objective examination for a patient following a total joint replacement.
  • Understand complications following total joint replacement surgeries.
  • Describe surgical outcomes following total joint replacement surgeries.
