This 4-hour online independent study module is designed to meet the mandatory HIV/AIDS training requirements for licensed and non-licensed healthcare professionals in the State of Washington. The module provides an overview of HIV/AIDS causes and incidence in the US and Washington, managing co-infections, HIV testing, modes of HIV transmission, clinical management of HIV/AIDS, recognizing psychosocial issues associated with HIV/AIDS, and the Washington AIDS Omnibus Law.
