Course Format: All courses in the bundle are 100% online, text-based self-study courses with a post-test. This format is ideal for those who prefer independent learning at their own pace, without audio or video. Participants engage with written materials, creating a focused, distraction-free learning environment. The courses also include an assessment to evaluate understanding and retention. A minimum score of 70% is required to pass and receive a certificate of completion. Note: We do not mail the course packet.

In-Service Training Requirements for a Certified Nursing Assistant: All CNAs must complete at least 24 hours of in-service training each biennium. In-service training hours shall include, but are not limited to, the following areas:

• Bloodborne Pathogens
• Infection Control
• Domestic Violence
• Medical Record Documentation and Legal Aspects Appropriate to Nursing Assistants
• Resident Rights
• Communication with cognitively impaired clients
• CPR skills
• Medical Error Prevention and Safety

Note: CNAs administering medication to home health agency patients should also be familiar with the requirements. 464.2035, F.S.
