Texas Human Trafficking Training Requirement:
Texas Human Trafficking Training Requirements for Healthcare Professionals: House Bill 2059, 86th Legislature, Regular Session, 2019, requires that, beginning September 1, 2020, certain health care practitioners who provide direct patient care complete an approved human trafficking prevention training course to renew their license. To satisfy the training requirement, the course must be approved by the Texas Health and Human Services Commission (Texas HHSC).
